Pastor Brian and Pastor Rebecca Sylvester’s lives are living testimonies of God’s redeeming power, His grace, and His divine purpose. Though they came from different backgrounds, their journeys were marked by the same undeniable truth—Jesus Christ is the One who saves, heals, and restores.

Brian was born into a Hindu family, and from a young age, he longed to know God. He spent his childhood visiting temples, speaking to deities, searching for meaning. Later, he was introduced to the Catholic faith and served as an altar boy, yet his heart still yearned for the truth. At the age of nine, his family migrated to Australia, and life took a turn for the worse. Struggles at home, poor influences, and the pursuit of worldly pleasures led him into darkness—broken dreams, addiction, and despair. One night, on the streets, alone and hopeless, he contemplated ending his life. In that moment of deep desperation, he cried out to God, asking, “Who are You?” And then, he heard a voice that changed his life forever: “I am Jesus. I died for your sins. Call upon Me, and I will make you whole.” From that day in 2002, Jesus transformed Brian’s life, breaking every chain and leading him into His light.

Rebecca’s journey also began in a home with mixed faith influences—her mother was Hindu, and her father was Catholic. She followed both religions, but at the age of 13, her family went through severe financial hardship after her father’s business collapsed. During this time, a neighbor introduced her family to a local Christian church where God’s power was moving. It was there that she encountered Jesus in a way she had never known before—she was instantly healed from an eye condition and no longer needed glasses. The presence of God filled her life, bringing peace to her family, and she knew that this was the truth she had been searching for. She gave her life to Jesus and began serving in the church at a young age, doing everything from welcoming people, cleaning, leading prayer meetings, and even translating for the pastor. Her deep hunger for God and her passion for prayer led her to witness miracles and deliverances as Jesus moved through her life.

It was in that very church that Brian and Rebecca first met. At that time, Brian was drawing closer to Jesus after his encounter, and Rebecca, with her unwavering faith, encouraged him to know God as his Father. Their journey together was sealed in 2004 when they married, and since then, they have been faithfully serving the Lord in Melbourne, Australia.

Today, as husband and wife, they continue to walk in their calling, sharing the love of Jesus and ministering to those in need. Blessed with three boys, their family stands as a testament to God’s grace, His faithfulness, and His power to transform lives. From brokenness to restoration, from searching to finding, their lives are a reminder that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
